Terms of service

These terms govern the use of Launchbook (the “Service”), operated by [Name] (“we”). German law applies; mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.

1. The Service

The Service creates digital products (PDF guides, workbooks and similar) and marketing material from information you provide, using AI models. Outputs are drafts that you must review; we do not guarantee factual accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or commercial success.

2. Account and credits

You sign in by email link. One credit allows one complete product generation. Outlines are free. Credits from a subscription are granted each billing period; unused subscription credits do not roll over beyond the account’s lifetime balance shown in your account. Top-up credits do not expire while the account exists. Credits are not refundable except where the law requires it or a generation failed on our side (then the credit is returned automatically).

3. Prices, payment, renewal

Prices are shown gross, including VAT where applicable. Subscriptions run monthly and renew for one month at a time until cancelled. You can cancel at any time to the end of the current period via “Cancel contracts here”. Payment is processed by Stripe.

4. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because the Service starts immediately at your express request, the right ends once the service is fully performed, and you owe a proportionate amount for the part already performed. Details: right of withdrawal.

5. Licence

You own the inputs you provide. For products generated on the Starter and Pro plans we grant you a worldwide, perpetual licence to use, modify, publish and sell the outputs. Free-plan outputs are for personal, non-commercial use. You may not use the Service to produce unlawful, defamatory, infringing or deceptive content, or to impersonate others.

6. AI disclosure

Outputs are generated with AI assistance. Marketplaces such as Etsy and Amazon KDP require disclosure; we provide the wording, you are responsible for using it.

7. Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; for slight negligence only for breach of essential contractual duties and limited to the typical foreseeable damage. Liability for the content of generated products rests with the user who publishes them.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Section 3 governs ordinary cancellation of subscriptions.

9. Changes

We may change these terms for good reason (legal changes, new features) with at least four weeks’ notice by email; you may object and terminate.
